ABOUT THE BAND
The story so far...
Orange Crush, NJ’s first R.E.M. tribute act, was conceived in 2017. After considering a few different options it was quickly agreed by all members of the band that there would be no better band to pay homage to than R.E.M. From the textured baritone of lead vocalist Frank Hartgrave and primal rhythms of drummer Danny Mecca to the nimble and accurate playing of Mike Lorincz all members of the band were well suited to their roles. Being considered one of the greatest live acts of all time, R.E.M. no longer tours but Orange Crush is here to carry on the legacy!
